PRO+ class Box Joint type adjustable water pump pliers BGS Technic 75110 with non-slip PVC handles are made of special forged hardened chrome vanadium [CrV] tool steel. The tool is black lacquered, the jaws and joint are polished. Box Joint type pliers have a box-shaped joint connecting the two handles, which is stronger, more durable, and less likely to slip when gripping objects than a traditional lap joint of pliers.
