YT-82532 desoldering tape in the form of a copper tape composed of many individual threads braided in the form of a wick. It is used to remove excess tin or to clean traces of solder residues.

Place the tape on the solder pad from which you are going to remove excess tin. Apply a hot tip to the tape. The tin will begin to melt into the hot braid, thereby removing the solder from the solder pad. For best results, apply some flux to the pad before starting the process.
