SOLDER WICK/BRAID 2.0MM X 1,5M (YT-82531)

YT-82532 desoldering braid in the form of a copper tape composed of many individual threads braided in the form of a wick. It is used to remove excess solder or to clean solder residue.

Place the tape on the solder pad from which you are going to remove excess solder. Touch the hot tip to the tape. The solder will begin to melt into the hot braid, thus drawing the solder away from the solder pad. For best results, apply some flux to the pad before starting the process.
