PIPE CRIMPER , L-250 MM, FIVE BLADES (YT-22380)

Specialized pliers designed to reduce the diameter of connected pipes, such as sheet metal downpipes/ducts or furnace pipes. Used mostly by roofers, tin plumbers, duct and ventilation installers, and gutter system installers.
Made of high-grade steel, they have five bending jaws. The efficient articulation mechanism multiplies the jaw's pressure force, causing the pipe edge to be crimped and its diameter reduced. This allows one pipe section to be inserted into another and to create a permanent connection.
Purpose / Application
To reduce the diameter of sheet metal pipes during pressing.
How to use
Insert the edge of the connecting pipe between the open jaws of the pliers and firmly squeeze the handles.
The edge of the tube will become corrugated; move the pliers repeatedly until the perimeter of the tube is clearly reduced.
