Product description

This engine locking tool kit is designed for use on a range of VAG group engines, including both diesel and gasoline variants. It covers 1.9 and 2.0 liter TDI pump/nozzle engines, 1.9 liter conventional diesel engines, 2.5 liter V6 TDI, and 3.3 liter V8 TDI engines (diesel only, not gasoline). Additionally, it is suitable for 1.2 liter 3-cylinder and 1.4/1.6 liter gasoline engines. The kit is intended for tasks such as timing belt replacement, camshaft and crankshaft alignment, and injection pump servicing.

The set includes essential adjustment and locking tools required for precise engine timing and maintenance. It provides specific tools for setting and locking camshafts and crankshafts, securing timing belts, adjusting tensioners, and locking injection pumps. This makes it suitable for use during engine rebuilds, timing belt changes, and other engine repair procedures on compatible VAG engines.
