Product description

This engine timing tool kit is designed for setting and checking the timing on specific Chrysler, Jeep, and LDV diesel engines. It provides the necessary locking pins and tools to accurately position the camshafts, flywheel, and balancer shaft during timing belt or chain replacement, as well as other engine maintenance tasks that require precise timing alignment. The kit is suitable for both 2.5 and 2.8 CRD engines found in a range of vehicles from 2001 to 2008.

The included components cover a variety of engine configurations, with dedicated locking pins for both inlet and exhaust camshafts, multiple flywheel locking pins tailored to different vehicle models and engine variants, and a tensioner wrench. A universal retainer is also provided as an alternative for R425 engines, allowing for flexibility across compatible engine families.
