This engine timing tool kit is designed for locking and positioning the camshaft, crankshaft, and injection pump on a range of BMW diesel engines, as well as selected Land Rover, Rover, MG, and Opel/Vauxhall models. It is used during timing chain replacement, engine rebuilds, or other major engine service tasks that require precise alignment of engine components. The kit covers engines with codes M41, M51, M47, M47 TU/T2, M57 TU/T2 (2.0l/3.0l, 1998-2008), 204D3, Td 4, Td 6, and M47R.

This set includes a variety of locking tools, pullers, and pins, each corresponding to specific OEM reference numbers for compatibility with the target engines.
