Product description

This engine timing tool set is designed for setting and checking the engine timing on selected Chrysler, Jeep and LDV diesel engines. It is used during service and repair procedures where accurate positioning of the camshaft, flywheel and related timing components is required in order to maintain correct engine timing during disassembly and reassembly.

The set is suitable for Chrysler Voyager and Grand Voyager engines R2516C, R2516L and R2816K, as well as selected Jeep Cherokee 2.5 / 2.8 models from 2001 to 2008 and LDV Maxus models from 2005 to 2008 with VM2516L engines. It is intended for workshop use when carrying out timing adjustment, timing verification and related engine maintenance work.

In addition to the main locking and positioning tools, the set also includes components for flywheel locking, tensioner adjustment and balancer shaft locking. For R425 engines, a universal retainer may be used as an alternative to the camshaft sprocket fixing tool.
