Astro welding helmet with a true color auto-darkening filter, allowing observation of the welding area in realistic colors. Certified welding filter in the highest optical class 1/1/1/1. The filter provides a large viewing area of 100x68 mm and protection against UV/IR radiation at DIN 16 level. The filter is protected against splinters by a durable polycarbonate glass. Four arc sensors and precise electronic devices detect electric arc from TIG with intensity of just 5A. The filter is powered by a solar cell and a LIR2450 battery, which can be charged via the built-in USB-C socket.

Adjustments for the helmet's darkening level, sensitivity to the light source intensity, and the time for maintaining the dark state after welding. A button on the outer casing disables the darkening function. The helmet can then be used as personal protective equipment, e.g., against splinters from metal cutting or grinding. A four-point harness, sweatband, and a system for adjusting size and working angle allow customizing the helmet's position according to individual requirements and work comfort.

The filters have a TEST button, allowing to check the operation of the auto-darkening function. Regular filter checks before work will help protect the operator's eyes and health.
