Description

The YATO YT-82701 soldering iron is a precise, high-quality, and efficient DIY+ class device with a power button, temperature stabilization, and calibration functions, designed for joining metal elements by soldering them with a soldering alloy. The temperature calibration function, which allows re-calibrating the built-in temperature sensor, is performed using the integrated LCD display, which shows the set and actual tip temperature. Correct setting of the readings has a positive effect on temperature stability and helps to avoid overheating the PCB joint. Ceramic heating element.

The temperature stabilization function allows the user to maintain a preset soldering tip temperature under different heat demand conditions. Depending on the size of the component being soldered, the soldering tip emits more or less heat, and the device, using the built-in tip temperature sensor, constantly reads its actual value and compares it with the set temperature, then, depending on the needs, increases or decreases the amount of power consumed to maintain the set temperature.

The simply constructed YATO YT-82701 tool works almost flawlessly, and with proper tip maintenance, it will serve you for many years. The soldering iron is suitable for popular interchangeable 900M series tips.

The 80W power is sufficient for the tool's tip to heat up from room temperature to a working temperature of 350°C in about 20 seconds. The soldering iron has a 100cm power cord.

Tip maintenance recommendations: overheating and mechanical damage can quickly destroy the protective layer. If the tip oxidizes, problems may arise with melting the solder. The solder no longer melts and adheres to the tip, but rolls off and falls. We recommend that when heating the soldering iron for the first time, you place some tin, for example, brass shavings, on the tip and remove any excess. The tin layer formed in this way will protect the tip from oxidation. We advise tinning the tip every time you finish work.

YT-82701 temperature calibration: Briefly press the red button, then use the temperature adjustment buttons to set the actual temperature of the arrow and wait about 3 seconds to confirm the setting. During the calibration process, the temperature displayed on the screen will flash.
