Description

The YATO YT-82700 contact soldering iron is a high-quality and efficient DIY+ class device with an integrated LED light in the body, indicating when the device is on, and a temperature stabilization and regulation function, designed for joining metal elements by soldering them with solder alloy. Ceramic heating element.

The temperature stabilization function allows the user to maintain a preset soldering tip temperature under different heat demand conditions. Depending on the size of the component being soldered, the soldering tip emits more or less heat, and the device, using the built-in tip temperature sensor, constantly reads its actual value and compares it with the set temperature, then, depending on the needs, increases or decreases the amount of power consumed to maintain the set temperature.

The YATO YT-82700 tool, with its simple design, operates almost flawlessly, and with proper tip maintenance, it will serve you for many years. The soldering iron is suitable for popular interchangeable 900M series tips.

50W of power is enough for the tool tip to heat up from room temperature to a working temperature of 350°C in approximately 60 seconds. The soldering iron has a 140cm power cord.

Recommendations for tip careoverheating and mechanical damage can quickly destroy the protective layer. If the tip oxidizes, there may be problems melting the solder. Solder no longer melts and sticks to the tip, but balls up and falls off. We recommend that the first time you heat the soldering iron, apply a small amount of solder, for example, brass shavings, to the end of the tip and remove any excess. The solder layer formed in this way will protect the tip from oxidation. We advise you to tin the tip every time after work.
