Product description

This engine timing tool kit is designed for adjusting and locking the engine timing during procedures such as timing belt replacement. It is suitable for a range of 16-valve petrol and diesel engines from Citroen, Peugeot, Fiat, and Toyota. The kit covers 1.8 and 2.0 16V petrol engines with EW, XU, and TU engine codes (including HPI engines), as well as 1.9D, 2.0D, and 2.2D diesel engines with DW8, DW10, and DW12 HDI codes (XUD and TUD families). It is also compatible with similar engine types in Toyota and Fiat vehicles.

The set includes various locking pins and tools required to hold the camshaft, crankshaft, and flywheel in the correct position during engine timing work. This makes it suitable for use when replacing timing belts, adjusting camshafts, or working on injection pumps across the specified engine families.
