This tool is designed for the precise installation of the transmission-side radial sealing ring on VAG group engines. It is used during engine maintenance or repair when replacing the crankshaft oil seal. Improper installation of this seal without the correct tool can result in oil leaks, premature destruction of the new seal, and poor engine performance.

The tool is suitable for use on a range of VAG vehicles, including models such as VW Golf, Touran, and Audi A3 and A4. It covers various engine types, including 1.4i Turbo, 1.4 and 1.6 petrol direct injection engines, as well as 1.9 / 2.0 SDI and 2.0 Common Rail Diesel engines.
