Product description

This camshaft locking tool set is designed for securing the camshaft during inspection and for adjusting valve timing on select VAG group engines. It is suitable for use on 1.2 and 1.4 TSI/TFSi engines equipped with active cylinder management systems, such as ACT (Active Cylinder Technology) or COD (Cylinder on Demand). The tool set is intended for use when performing maintenance or repairs that require precise camshaft positioning, such as timing belt or chain replacement, or when checking and adjusting valve control times.

The set is compatible with engines bearing the codes CPTA and CZEA. These engines are commonly found in various models across the Audi, Volkswagen, Seat, and Skoda brands, particularly in vehicles produced from 2012 onwards.
