Product description

This tool kit is designed for locking the flywheel and front pulley, as well as separating the timing chain cover during timing chain replacement procedures. The kit serves engine codes including H4JT (1.4L), M5M (1.6L), M4R (2.0L), 2TR (2.5L), and V4Y (3.5L).

Additionally, the kit can be used for locking the flywheel on certain diesel engines—specifically the 2.0L (M9R) and 2.3L (M9T)—when used in conjunction with a separate tool (BGS 8421). This makes the set suitable for a range of timing and engine service tasks on both petrol and diesel engines within the specified families.
