METAL MARKING PEN (35240)

Pointers are designed for fast, precise marking of points on the surface of a piece of material such as wood, metal or plastic. Most commonly used to mark a point before beginning drilling. The so-called scoring makes it easy to start drilling, reducing the adverse effect of moving the drill on the surface of the material.
The mark is produced as a result of hitting the sharp end of the punch into the material. The traditional scoring method requires the use of a hammer. The presented automatic markers mark the material by using a strong inner spring that moves the steel, hardened needles. So they eliminate the need to carry a heavy hammer.
The pawl does not require spring tension - it is done automatically. Immediately after pressing the needle onto the material and impact, we can repeat the operation by marking another point.
The pawl has adjustable impact force for optimum fit to the hardness of the marked material.
Purpose / Application
To mark points before starting drilling. Using a punch reduces the effect of a wandering drill.
How to use
Place the needle onto the material where you want to mark and press firmly.
