It is particularly used in automotive, agriculture, gardening, aquaristics, leatherwork, decoration, and many other industries. It is used for the transfer of air and fluids, but also as a protection, e.g., for sharp edges and electrical wires. The high-quality polyvinyl chloride from which the hose is made is characterized by high plasticity and mechanical strength. The hose is odorless and tasteless and is resistant to alcohol, mineral oils, and many solvents.
