This engine timing tool kit is designed for adjusting the timing on chain-driven 2.0L petrol direct injection engines with variable valve timing. It is specifically intended for use during timing chain service, camshaft or crankshaft removal, or other engine repairs requiring precise alignment of timing components. The kit includes dedicated tools for locking the crankshaft and camshafts, as well as an alignment tool for the crankshaft position sensor and a tensioner locking pin.

The tool set is compatible with Ford engines bearing the codes TNWA, TNBA, TPWA, MGDA, and XQDA. These engines are commonly found in various Ford models such as the Galaxy, Mondeo, S-MAX, and Focus. The kit provides camshaft alignment plates for both pre- and post-May 2011 engine variants, ensuring correct application across different production years.
